Areli Jaimes

  • NC Bar | Member Since 2022

  • Elon University School of Law, Greensboro, NC Juris Doctor, December 2021

A native Spanish speaker and the son of Mexican immigrants, Areli intimately understands the unique needs and challenges faced by his clients, weaving cultural sensitivity into every aspect of his practice.

Born and raised in North Carolina, Areli's journey into the legal world began with a fervent desire to make a meaningful difference in his community. After earning his Juris Doctor from Elon University School of Law (2022) in Greensboro, Areli embarked on a mission to champion the rights of the marginalized and underserved, drawing inspiration from his own background.

His first foray into the legal profession saw him joining Triad Legal Group, Inc. There, as an immigration case manager, he was able to develop his knowledge of Immigration Law.

Eager to broaden his horizons, Areli ventured into the realm of litigation, joining Price Petho and Associates, PLLC as an associate litigation attorney. Armed with his bilingual skills and unwavering determination, Areli tackled a myriad of legal challenges, from negotiating settlements for personal injury claims to fostering new business relationships for the firm.

Areli then decided to return to the practice of Immigration Law and joined Velasquez & Associates, PLLC. There, he was the lead attorney for the immigration department. While at Velasquez & Associates, he won his first Asylum case in Immigration Court and successfully negotiated a plea bargain in criminal court for a Lawful Permanent Resident allowing the client to avoid removal proceedings.

Driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence, Areli founded Jaimes Law Office, PLLC. Here, Areli will focus his practice on the areas of Immigration and Business Law.
